Specific Solutions
The Q.series and e.series can be used very flexibly as components. They were conceived for applications such as instrumentation and testing equipment as well as test monitoring and long-term monitoring.
All these applications lead to focal points with requirements covered to a major extent by the standard features of the products, which, however, necessitate a certain amount of highly custom features. For this reason we offer custom solutions based on our products, which can be supplemented or modified to match the specific application.
These solutions are the result of close cooperation with key customers and partners and have been tested in the field.
Wind Logging
The e.series provides the basis for measuring mechanical loads on wind turbines (IEC 61400-13). The capability of distributed location of the measuring modules, the ability to capture all signals present, including mechanical signals (DMS), meteorological, electrical and position values, and the connection of the modules to the controller using fiber optical cable, satisfy all significant criteria required for wind turbines.
The e.pac DL, high performance test controllers, also allow PC-independent positioning. In this case the controller captures the signals from the modules, calculates statistical data such as the minimum, maximum, standard deviation, and average (vector averaging for wind direction), and saves the dynamic (100 Hz) as well as slow (1Hz) values and the statistical data (10 min) in a USB storage device. If required the controller can also monitor key values such as turbulence and send emails on any events to desired addresses.
Systems with an integrated PC can also be laid out very efficiently with this solution. In this case the controller provides only the unprocessed values on the test.node server solution installed on the PC. Here the statistical data is calculated, the alarm management and other conditioning test.nodes create a data directory on a desired drive in the network, e.g. on a virtual server and save the data in sorted form in the usual formats (e.g. FAMOS). A test.viewer is used for visualization.
Structural Monitoring
In the attempt to balance safety requirements and cost consciousness, monitoring structures and diagnosis of the structural condition is a proven means of simultaneously achieving cost efficiency and safety. Unfortunately there are repeated examples of severe damage, which could have been avoided by proper monitoring. This is particularly dramatic when human injury is involved.
The solution consists of a flexible number of distributed measuring modules and one or more test controllers, synchronized, for example, by a radio-controlled clock. The values measured most frequently are expansion rates of supporting elements, expansion of fissures, e.g. with inductive sensors, forces and moments, pressures, temperatures and vibrations. Dynamic and synchronized capture of distributed reading signals, e.g. along a bridge, allows users to correlate vibration signals of several directions.

Photovoltaic
In large solar systems monitoring and troubleshooting becomes more and more complex. Each operator is interested in finding errors in PV modules, strings, or a group quickly because they can reduce the amount of energy produced and the life of the system greatly.

Scada Level: Database and web portal applications complete the solution intelligently and customer-oriented and provide for transparency and global availabilities of the data of a PV system.
Data Level: Data loggers record the measured data of the string monitoring. Furthermore, meteorological data and other state variables are added. Signal conditioning, storing, compressing, and communication in many ways are are the strengths
of flexible data solution.
String Level: Used in medium and large PV systems, design and production errors will already be recognized on the DC side for each PV string, regardless of the inverter or damages, contaminations and burglary.
