Q.staxx - Robust Design for Pallet Handling Systems

In the Q.staxx packaging configuration, Q.bloxx modules are housed in sealed enclosures, mounted onto a passive back plane that is attached to the skid. Depending on the measurements desired, the modules can be interchanged onto the back plane, and the sensors are directly connected to the modules prior to the skid entering the test cell. In this approach a completely functional measurement system is configured, wired, and verified prior to entering the system into the test cell. Once in the cell, only a single connection to the automation system is required. The Q.staxx line is based on the Q-series, therefore the technical data for the Q.bloxx modules applies.

Q.staxx Modules

Q.staxxQ.staxx based on the Q.bloxx measuring and I/O module technology. The technical data is therefore the same as the specifications given in the data sheets for the Q.bloxx modules. The Q.staxx units can be connected to a Q.gate or Q.pac test controller. Data is exchanged between the test controller and automation level via TCP/IP or using the EtherCAT or Profibus-DP fieldbus systems. Below is a break down of the Q.staxx modules:
