e.series - The Industry Standard in Test Automation
The e.series measurement system is designed for test applications, data acquisition and process optimization. All standard analog and digital process signals can be acquired quickly and with great precision.

e.Series - System Overview
e.bloxx - The Measurement Level
The e.bloxx modules acquire sensor and process signals with precision, speed and stability. To ensure durability the inputs, the power supply, and the interface ports are all galvanically isolated from each other. The industrial design reduces EMI and temperature influences to a minimum. We guarantee that our modules will meet or exceed all published specifications over a temperature range of -20C to +60C. All units can be powered with 10 to 30 VDC.
e.gate/e.pac - Data Concentration and Control Level
The Test Controllers of the e.series transform the e.bloxx measurement modules into a very efficient and powerful synchronized measurement and control system. They are the interface between the e.bloxxs and the supervisory system. Using the Ethernet TCP/IP port on the test controller, any PC can be connected to the measuring system. Optionally, other interfaces are available, such as EtherCAT, Profibus DP, CAN Open and USB 2.0.

The overall design and packaging of a measurement system depends on the specific application requirement, the environment, and the overall end-user functionality. Because of this, Gantner offers our standard measurement modules in a number of different packaging configurations, making system design, start up and operation easy.
